Nicholas Schaaf strives to make a difference in the lives of his clients by assisting them in developing a customized plan that will help them design their financial future. He began his career in financial services at Suncoast Credit Union, working his way from a branch employee to a member of their Trust and Investments Department. As a Retirement Plan Consultant, Nick assisted school board employees with planning and saving for retirement. During his time at Suncoast, he obtained the professional designation of Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor℠ (CRPC®). In addition to the CRPC® designation, his professional qualifications include FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 securities licenses, held through LPL Financial, and licensure with the State of Florida Department of Insurance.
When he’s not helping members pursue their financial dreams, Nick enjoys trying new barbecue restaurants and exploring local parks in the area with Teresa, his wife of 12 years. They also enjoy kayaking on the many waterways Florida has to offer and attending Atlanta Braves games at least once a year. In 2002, Nick acquired his private pilot license. Through this training, he further developed the skills of careful planning and attention to detail to help ensure safe landings.
